nice vid. you preety much just lead your crosshairs when he strafes. When my target is running towards me and spraying, he hits me but they are scatter shots. Thats why I run backwards. whoop

@danroh89 true, but its still a problem for the use of melee weapons, many times i was hit from what it seemed like 10 feet away by a wrench. pvk suffers from this alot
could it be because the bullets actually go through the game

with lag comp turned on which it is by default online the hitboxes mesh with the player model.
This is lan with lag comp off and thats why the hit boxes are not inline with the player models.
You tell kids to go back to grade 10 physics and grade 2 math while your spelling doesn’t pass grade 1.

its ok valve does this for a lot of time, but take this example ,id software , making online games for longer then valve with the 3 quakes changing the face of online shooters..u know wich was the main problem with quakelive that came out about a year or 2 ago?client prediction, exactly what this video shows. not that everyone will feel this as much, it depends on the connection quality, so that the client prediction works less with good connections so u may not feel it at all, but its not crap
I personally think that the purpose of their hitbox not being accurate is for that realistic bullet traveling time?
instead of click = death, perhaps it is for the delay for bullet to actually travel.
obviously if they script the actual bullet within the game, it’ll become way too difficult to play.
My two cents?
dont listen to julian .. source hit boxes are messed up .. cant remember which team 3d memeber it was but after moving from 1.6 over to source in a interview 1 team 3d member and 4 hours around him stated the game was great visually stunning but it played like shit terrible hitboxes , the hitboxes are so off thats why people think there is interp in the game but its not ex_interp its actually jus shitty hitboxes
